El Pirata Porch is a Caribbean-inspired catering and events company specializing in fire-cooked food for large gatherings and private events in Jacksonville, Florida.

El Pirata Porch was built by a married couple with Caribbean roots and Southern hands, cooking food that comes from memory, muscle, and fire.

We didn’t set out to start a brand. We started cooking to survive. During COVID, what began as a necessity slowly became a calling. Pop-ups turned into catering jobs. Catering jobs turned into long nights, bigger crowds, and higher expectations. With every step, we pushed ourselves harder — elevating our recipes, tightening our execution, and raising the bar without ever raising prices just because we could.

Tony brings over twenty years of cooking experience earned in real kitchens, where consistency matters and mistakes aren’t optional. Jinelly brings a deep Caribbean food history — flavor learned at home, carried through generations, and refined naturally into a professional setting. Together, that balance of discipline and instinct became the foundation of everything we do.

This business was shaped through trial and error, blood, sweat, and more than a few moments that tested us. We burned, we learned, and we kept going. Over time, the food stopped needing an explanation — it spoke for itself.

Today, El Pirata Porch focuses on catering and large events, cooking bold, honest food for people who want something memorable without the fluff. We cook with smoke, citrus, patience, and respect — for the craft, for the culture, and for the people we’re feeding.
